Bass fishing has been ok as long as you are using plastic worms. I haven't been able to catch bass with spinerbaits or chatterbaits. I'm about ready to start cranking. I'm not the greatest crankbait fisherman. But I can also say that about plastic lures until this summer.

Hopefully Paul it will be getting better after this rain. I believe the water temps need to drop a little bit more to turn them on GOOD. Then again we are talking about fishing in OHIO. The last 5 or 6 times out I only managed 1 keeper a day and not to many short fish to go with them.

I have a spot in Ohio untouched in August my dad and I pulled a 5.2, 6.5, 7.3, and a 9.6 in six hours. We were pulling them in every other cast.
