THE BASS COLLEGE

Has anybody done any fishing on the Sassafras upstream of Rt. 213?  I put a kayak in at Fox Hole Road landing and paddled up as far as Rt301.  It was hot and mid-afternoon on a rising tide........not a single hit.  Lots of nice looking water but didn't see any fish save a few schools of minnows.  Anybody with any experience on this section of the river?

That is funny you should mention area. I always wondered what was in there when we used to drive by it all the time. I asked somebody about 7 years ago and they told me they put in there also with a canoe or kayak I beleive and said they didn't catch anything. i haven't heard anything else since then.
