I'm just going to copy n paste this from my profile,.. I know its lazy but I thought it was a pretty good introduction,.. so I went with it. other than that I'm single with no kids so all my fishing is with my friends.

I live in New Castle and I grew up here. I spent years fishing down the canal,.. day and night for catfish and the lucky striper but mostly cats.. almost always on that peir on the south side of reedy point out by the jetty,.. had a few good days off the end of the south jetty hitting very large catfish using fresh shrimp from the grocery store. Then I moved on to Large mouth,.. started out at becks and lums sometimes but when a friend of a friend told us about the Dikes in Delaware City we never looked back !!  There's about 5 or 6 of us that have been fishing that pond for the last 6 years. usually 2 or 3 of us will canoe or wade but most importantly we always catch nice fish there.

Totally didnt even think about this being the main section. I live in Delaware,.. in the northern part above the C&D canal

  Would you mind telling me about the Dikes?  I've been fishing DE waters for a while and am always looking for new and exciting places to wet a line.  Thanks.
