We have a group of avid Bass Anglers whom are also active duty Marines here in Jacksonville, NC that are always looking for the new spots to fish for bass.  Any Tips, gear referrals, etc. would greatly be appreciated.  Also if anyone whom is in our area wold like to get together with us for a day of fishing just give us a shout!

High Rock and Gaston are the two Ive fished the most in NC.

Ok, So I spent a day fishing today with another Marine/Angler buddy of mine out at our usual spot on New River.  We usually can tag a couple of decent size stripers there.  We started at around 1200 and ended around 1700.  We were getting bites but nothing solid!  We tried everything in our arsenal from cranks, to top water, to spoons, to buzz baits, live bait (Worm/Minnow), and even (The go to when all else fails) the JIG!!  We left disappointed!  Any Ideas on What we can do to start triggering the harder Strikes and land some good size fish. Thanks!

Well, Bass Fishing has been pretty slow for us here in Jacksonville.  We just spent a day fishing at one of those pay lake areas and didnt even get a bite!  But as of today the weather made it up to 80 and supposed to hold for the following week!  Hope it goes well!

It will, it was slow here yesterday and today. Cold fronts and a bad moon phase didn't help, but it will change next week and you won't beleive the reports and videos that come in.

Small question, surely stupid : Moon phases are the same for everybody in the world ? I know we all got the same moon lol, but not the same seasons everywhere. Do you think if there's a bad moon phase in usa, there's also a bad moon phase in france ?
