The lakes are on there way down to winter pool. Most of the lakes I fish will be dropped some 20+ feet so if you come to KY tp fish make sure you stay in the Channels. Nolin is down about 6 feet. Barren is about 4 feet. Rough river just started there pull it was 5 feet over summer pool but now it is back to summer pool. Green River is at winter pool. Good Luck and tight lines to all.

I've never fished there however from my experience moving water or pulling water normally means agressive fish.As long as you know where they move too. Is that the case there or has it dropped so much and so quickly that its scattered the fish? good luck!

Here on a fast pull almost shuts them down in the shallows but they will sack up on drops 25 to 35 feet deep. If you can find them you can load the boat. If not you have to work your butt off to just get a real good keeper.

Thats what I thought. Most of the experience Ive had with pulling or dropping water was on the white river chain in MO table rock & bull shoals and at lake Jordan inAlabama and when I was there it wasnt a drastic pull the water was moving pretty good but we didn't see the drastic 2 to 3 ft drop overnight. On those lakes when that water moved it was like someone was ringing a dinner bell!! AWESOME!!!
