0900am central - started out fishing finesse bait - one short strike no fish.

0945am central - black/blue baby bug jig with gary g. crawfish as trailer - fish laydown and wood - no strikes.

1030 am central - green terminator spinnerbait w/ watermelon seed skirt -  gold blade -secondary silver colarado blade

first fish - cast under tree along wood - 2nd cast - 3.5 lbs approx

second fish - laydown/manmade brush pile - 3.0 lbs approx

third fish - drop off into flats - 2lbs approx

3 fish in all 2hrs fishing - not to shabby -

nice fish for your backyard !!!!!!! Im jealous!!!!!!!!!! Im tellin you that water looks perfect for a chatterbait and a wacky rigged senko as a backup plan.But you wont need it the chatterbait will kill em.

no chatter bait here yet but senkos get destroyed all year long - yes you need to b jealous and if u were here it would b ur back yard too - good thing ur in the family huh - ha ha lol

You don't use trailers on your spinnerbaits ?

no not usually colder water strike i prefer no trailers = late spring early summer months are in my opinion when to add  a trailer ===).:ohmy:
