I know Steve has written on this subject before, but I wanted to remind you all again that big bait's work! I have been far more effective in the pond's then the river's but dont know why. One thing for certain is that if you throw them the fish will come. And not only trophy's. Most of my fish on six to eight in. bait's are in the two to three pound class. As with any bait confidence will determine how well you do. Go read about the sucsess guys are having from Mass. to Georgia on them to help build you confidence. I have done well with baits that mimic perch and shiners. 3:16 lures, matt lures, and Huddelston bait's are some of my favorite's and what I use the most. | |
