This is my favorite PA lake

This is the lake i fish the most only live 5 mins away. Great lake can fish it all kinds of different way. Deep,Shallow, Pads, Drop offs, its got just about any type of structure in it. Get lake to learn on with a worm, crank bait, jig, swimbait you name it.

Any word when the 2011 open tournament season @ Nockamixon starts? Are they all open tournies at Nockamixon? This would be my first year in a tourney. I would be a non boater.

Hey i have not seen anything yet. But i have not looked i let you know when i see something. 

Hey does any one know when the tournaments are going to be held at Nockamixon this year?

Here is the list of thurs. night tournaments at the lake. The gut that ran them last year is not doing them so a club took them over. There are only 6 of them this year instead of 11. Hopefully next year there will be more.

Alot of the big fish last year where on jig, frog, crankbaits and sinkos

Throw those big Hudds and watch what happens. You only need one bite and when you get it you will win. Youll have a couple events where you weigh in nothing but the ones you do weigh a bass in you will win. These big fish style tourneys are perfect for this bait

So what kind would you think would work. I have a 4 inch BBZ deep running but didnt use it that much this year.

A 6 or 8 inch Huddleston in AYU or other Shad color, and a Spro BBZ1.
